Introduction
Here I will try to describe my work/research of my MSc thesis and use this wiki as a tool to help me organize my ideas.
I am a student at the Technical Higher Education Institute (School of Engineering), Technical University of Lisbon, currently enrolled in the final year of my Master Degree in Computer Science.
My thesis subject goes around Access Control in Rich Domain Model Web Applications and it is inserted in the scope of the Software Engineering Group research activity at INESC-ID. My advisor is Professor João Cachopo and co-advisor Professor Carlos Ribeiro, and my work is somehow a follow-up of my colleague's work Gonçalo Dumiense.
The main goal of my work I believe, is to, based upon past research, determine the best way of implementing access control in a Rich Domain Model Web application such as the one used to manage my faculty called FénixEdu. FénixEdu has already some history behind it, but it is nowadays a large and complex system used widely throughout my faculty and others, and I shall try to guide my research towards the implementation of my work in this system.
